This work was sold by Idonia in the 1960s to her son's sister-in-law. The sister-in-law later became educated and skilled in drawing and everything related to it. After her death, it ended up with her daughter, who admired and enjoyed looking at this work since childhood.
Collection PM.
This work was purchased by P.M. in mid-2025 because he thought it was a nice and beautiful painting. It depicts the beach at Scheveningen along the boulevard around 1950-1955. Idonia often went there with her children and made sketches of everything she found interesting.
